Twice-Daily Check-In Calls: Morning and Evening

For some families, one call a day isn’t quite enough. A morning call confirms your parent got up and through the night safely; an evening call confirms they’ve eaten, taken their medication, and are settled before a long night alone.

Here is who benefits from two calls a day, how the morning and evening checks differ, and how to set it up.

🌅

The morning call

Confirms they woke and got up safely after a night alone — the highest-risk window. Checks how they slept, how they’re feeling, and prompts the morning medication. If it goes unanswered, you’re alerted while there’s still time to act.

🌙

The evening call

Confirms they’ve had dinner, taken evening medication, and are okay heading into the night. A reassuring last point of contact — and for those who get anxious or confused in the evening, a calming, familiar voice.

Who benefits from two calls a day

Recently discharged from hospital and in the high-risk recovery window
Frail or at high fall risk, where a long gap between checks feels too long
On time-critical medication morning and night
Prone to evening anxiety, confusion or sundowning
Recently widowed, where the long evening alone is hardest
Living a long way from family, where you want bookend reassurance

How to set it up

Twice-daily calls are available on our daily-call plans — you simply choose two call times that suit your parent’s routine (for example 9am and 6pm). Both calls appear in your family dashboard with their own summaries, so you get a morning and an evening picture each day. As always, there’s a 7-day free trial, no credit card, and no lock-in.
